1. Call for waitress

There are two terms that Diva Traveler can say when calling the waiter. Bong, if the waiter looks old or older. Bong is a call addressed to an older person. Otherwise, if the waiter looks younger, Diva Traveler can call him Oun. It is a calling for the younger people.

2. How to order

An easy way to order food is by pointing at the menu or food pictures on the menu list. If you want to eat rice, Diva Traveler could tell, "Knyom nyam bai". Knyom means me. Yum, eat. Bai, ours. Want to order noodles? Just replace Bai's vocabulary with noodles. "Knyom nyam mie". For noodles, the vocabulary is the same.

3. Order halal food

Muslim Diva Traveler, usually choose halal food. Then, Order foods that do not contain pork. Pigs in Khmer are sach chrouk. Does not contain or does not exist in Khmer, from min. So, if you want to order rice with a side dish without pork, Diva Traveler can say this, "Knyom nyam bai ot min sach chrouk". If the person is still confused, just search for pig images on Google, then show it to the waiter while saying, “Ot min sach chrouk”.

4. Answer the number of servings

When Diva Traveler orders food, the waiter will usually ask for the number of portions ordered. "Pon man?”Or“ Jo upon man?" It means, how much.
Diva Traveler can answer that, "Jou mui" which means want only one. Here are the numbers one to ten in Khmer. Mui, phi, bai, good, pram, pram mui, pram phi (prempel), pram bai, pram bun dan dop.
