HUNTING for the legendary bread is not the main destination for tourists who travel to Bandung. Of course, Shake noodles are more popular than a slice of 'tempo doeloe' flavored bread. However, at the legendary bakery Paradiva you can find the original taste of bread and the history of Parahyangan City. This is what makes the legendary bakeries in Bandung worth visiting. 1. Meal Sources

Travel Diva's favorite menu is brown bread which is abundant in content and just the right sweetness. Sidodadi has been around since 1954 and until now it still uses the same cooking method. Even, some bread is still burned using charcoal as in the past.

The use of charcoal makes Sidodadi-made bread has a special fragrant aroma. The texture of the bread itself is not as soft as modern breads. But, still mandatory choice because of the delicious filling and made without using preservatives. Roti Sidodadi is located on Jalan Otto Iskandar Dinata.

3. Roti Djie Seng

Another legendary bread in Bandung is Djie Seng. The year of his birth was not too far away with Roti Sidodadi. In the past, Roti Djie Seng was sold around using bicycles and motorbikes. However, Currently, it is rare to find Roti hawkers Djie Seng in housing estates in Bandung.

The variants include, White bread, cadet, crocodile and sweet. Travel Diva's favorite is a sweet bun filled with chocolate and milk. While visiting Bandung, Paradiva can visit the factory on Jalan Rajawali Timur, Astana Anyar or Pasir Koja.
