Traveloka supports the implementation of the Belitung Triathlon 2021 to encourage sport tourism and domestic tourism. This maintenance was held on 13-14 March 2021 then in the province of the Bangka Belitung Islands.
The event, which was held for two days, is part of a series of Indonesia Triathlon Series events which are fully supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. Because it is in line with the government's plan in developing sport tourism (sports tourism) as part of efforts to restore domestic tourism in Indonesia.
Responding to the organization of this event, Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Republic of Indonesia, revealed that triathlon allows him to reach more people, given that three popular sports are included in it (swimming, running and cycling) is a sport that is loved by many people.
While still implementing the strict CHSE protocol, Sandiaga continued that this activity also offered an interesting combination. It is not only healthy for the body but also invites the participants to get to know the natural beauty of Indonesia, especially the Bangka Belitung Islands.
“We hope that this activity can contribute to the government's efforts to introduce the potential for sport tourism (sports tourism) in Belitung and several other domestic destinations in Indonesia, so that it can revive the stretching of domestic tourism,"Added Sandiaga.
Also being one of the official supporters of the Belitung Triathlon activity 2021, Traveloka President Caesar Indra said that Traveloka is very proud to have the opportunity to support the Belitung Triathlon 2021 which is expected to encourage sports tourism in the country.

Supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and the Provincial Government of the Bangka Belitung Islands, this activity is the first Indonesia Triathlon Series competition in the year 2021.
In the future, The Triathlon Series will continue in various other super priority tourist destinations throughout the year 2021.
