In presenting payment services in this Borobudur tourist area, LinkAja participates in the Proud National Movement Made in Indonesia (BBI) JogloSemar Festival.

The BBI National Movement itself is a movement which was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on 14 May 2020 as a form of support for the Indonesian Industry, especially Small and Medium Industry Artisans and encourage people to love and buy local products so that Indonesian Industry can continue to grow in their own country.

Year-round 2021, The BBI National Movement was implemented in various regions. In May 2021 this, The BBI National Movement was present in the Province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Central Java Province through the Joglosemar Festival which was held at Borobudur Temple on 20 May 2021.

Haryati Lawidjaja, President Director of LinkAja, said that LinkAja's involvement in the BBI National Movement is a tangible manifestation of us as a national electronic money that is committed to providing easy access to digital financial services to the public..

“The presence of payment services using the Indonesian Standard QR Code (QRIS) on the LinkAja application and LinkAja Syariah Services throughout the Borobudur tourism ecosystem, is expected to provide convenience and convenience of transactions for visitors and SMEs in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic,” he continued.

As electronic money that focuses on the aspiring community and MSMEs, LinkAja is consistent in being involved in government programs that focus on empowering MSMEs.

Not only participating in the BBI National Movement, LinkAja is also involved in the Proud to Travel Indonesia campaign, which was initiated by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.

Currently LinkAja is here on 18 Cities or Regencies throughout Indonesia to facilitate digital payments in more than 30 tourist sites in Indonesia.
