IHG Hotels & Resorts today officially announced a direct partnership with a technology company providing digital-based travel and lifestyle services in Southeast Asia, Traveloka.

This partnership between IHG and Traveloka is part of IHG's efforts as a global company in strengthening local market share, development of digital distribution channels, as well as providing easy ordering through the Traveloka platform.

Pilot program or pilot project starting in February 2021 will cover more than 10 hotels in Southeast Asia and Korea, which is the process that will continue in the year 2021 for other hotels in the world.

In Indonesia, Traveloka held a program livestream and EPIC Sale as a platform for hotel partners to provide attractive offers and boost the number of domestic bookings.

In Singapore, Traveloka is one of the five official booking platforms for the Singapore Rediscovers Vouchers program.

Traveloka is also actively introducing a series of initiatives that focus on encouraging safe travel activities as well as flexible bookings through Traveloka CleanAccommodation as well as flexible booking features., as Buy Now Stay Later, Online Check-In, Pay Upon Check-In, and Easy Reschedule.

Currently, IHG has 24 hotels in Indonesia and plans to open 16 new hotels in the next three to five years.

Six of the IHG hotel brands are currently available in Indonesia, with two brand new ones, Kimpton then Regent, which will soon enter the national market. In year 2021 this, IHG plans to officially open several of its hotels, including Kimpton Naranta Bali, Holiday Inn Bali Sanur, and Holiday Inn Bali Canggu.
