Airbnb has decided to ban property tenants from holding parties that involve many people. This was said to be irresponsible and not in accordance with government regulations in avoiding the corona virus pandemic.

“We announce a global ban on parties and events held on Airbnb partner properties. We also limit the number of tenants who are allowed to participate. This decision applies to future Airbnb bookings, until an unspecified time,” said the Airbnb in its official statement.
Airbnb admits that many rogue tenants are looking for loopholes to have parties at home, because clubs and bars and pubs have closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Party action and drinking together finally moved to the house, including renting a house through their platform.

Airbnb's decision to ban parties was taken after a viral incident occurred at an Airbnb partner property in Scottish Highland.
