The festival is enlivened with various programs, including a culinary bazaar, Live Painting & Sketching, the appearance of Gambang Kromong, competition, sharing session, Movie Screening, and fun games.

For your information, holding this event is one of IHHCH's efforts with the Jakarta Maritime Museum in developing the Museum as an urban tourism icon by highlighting the cultural heritage of the city of Jakarta and creative economic products. By holding this creative program, it is hoped that it will change the stigma of society who considers museums only as places that display historical stories, but it can also be used as a creative public space and travel option. Thus, community participation for activities and visits to museums can also be increased.

Event starts with sharing session “Heritage Talk: Spices, Betawi Coffee and Culinary”. This activity was filled by two speakers, namely Ary Sulistyo from the Director of Research and Development IHHCH and Repa Kustipia from the Gastro Tourism Academy. The two sources explained the position and potential behind spices in the development of identity and tourism in Jakarta and Indonesia. Ary Sulistyo, or familiarly called Mas Ary, filled the discussion by discussing the importance of knowing the history of spices as a booster for Indonesia's economy today. Next, Mba Repa Kustipia added, that the original resources of the Archipelago have had an impact on various aspects such as politics, culture, health, culinary, to technology and industry. Some of the general public also enjoyed the event at that time. This is the spirit for IHHCH and the Jakarta Maritime Museum to further introduce the Museum as a tourist destination at the next City Story Festival.
