DANA's commitment in supporting #BeliK KreatifDanauToba is realized through the financial technology solutions it has developed to be used as a means to accelerate the digital transformation of MSMEs / IKM in the Lake Toba region, North Sumatra, which is one of Indonesia's five super priority tourism destinations.

Agustina Samara, Chief People & DANA's Corporate Strategy Officer said, Lake Toba as one of the five Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP) has enormous potential, including in terms of producing artisan products from MSMEs.

Agustina also added that as a financial technology company that is committed to being a catalyst for the digital economy ecosystem, DANA realizes the importance of participating in digital financial application services such as DANA to be the driving force in it.

“In accordance with DANA's commitment as a friend of UMKM, we support government initiatives by leveraging the technology we developed. We will also continue to synergize with all stakeholders, starting from industry players, local and central government, to the education and community,” lanjut Agustina.

DANA also collaborates with the Del Institute of Technology to accelerate the digitization of MSMEs and also teaches the importance of digitization for students.

Through the roadshow, DANA helps MSMEs who want to connect with the digital ecosystem to join DANA Bisnis so they can take advantage of the convenience, security, convenience and advantages of special features for these business actors.

Currently, DANA Bisnis users are spread across almost all provinces in Indonesia. For the island of Sumatra, the number of DANA Bisnis users reaches more than 18.000 and more than 5.500 among them are in North Sumatra, including MSMEs around Lake Toba.

The #BeliKreasiDanauToba campaign is a follow-up to the #BanggaBuatanIndonesia National Movement (BBI). Throughout 2020, BBI managed to invite more than 3,8 million creative actors and SMEs to join the e-commerce platform and connect with the digital economy ecosystem. According to the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, #BeliK KreatifDanauToba will provide assistance to 5.700 creative economic actors in North Sumatra so that they can join in e-commerce for market expansion and digital product strengthening.
