FOR strengthening business in the tourism segment, Bank Mandiri is collaborating with Traveloka. The two companies launched the Traveloka Mandiri Card credit card co-branding. Through this collaboration, travelers can take advantage of more advantages to explore various tourist destinations both at home and abroad.
According to Hery Gunardi, Consumer Director & Retail Transaction Bank Mandiri, Tourism is one of the main sectors that can encourage sustainable economic growth in Indonesia. “This sector also continues to grow and through this collaboration with Traveloka, we believe we can strengthen and increase our market share in this growing sector,said Hery, at the launch of the Traveloka Mandiri Card in Bali (14/2).
Revealed, to the End 2019, the number of Bank Mandiri credit card holders reached 2 million with a financial transaction value of Rp 43 trillion, grow 16% from the previous year. From that value, transactions used for traveler needs are estimated to reach 17%.
Harry added, through this co-brand credit card, he hopes to increase the composition of traveler financing in this business to 20% so that it can encourage the growth of Mandiri's credit card business in the range of 10% at the end of the year 2020.
Meanwhile, Henry Hendrawan, President, Traveloka Group Operations said Traveloka's partnership with Bank Mandiri allows Traveloka to provide added value for Traveloka Mandiri Card users, with the main aim of making it easier for users to meet their travel and lifestyle needs.
