The GoFood delivery service wants to encourage the progress of local culinary MSMEs. This time, the platform made by Gojek presents 12 Local Champion Partners to participate in the Indonesian Festival event: Children's Party.

This festival is part of the Proud Made in Indonesia National Movement program (Gernas BBI) for the development of the national MSME digital ecosystem.

The event initiated by the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA), and fully supported by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, it is located at Plaza Tenggara, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta on 8-9 July 2023.

As much 12 The GoFood Business Partners present are selected business partners who are also part of the GoFood Local Champion Collection, an initiative from GoFood in the form of curating regional specialties menus to encourage the visibility of local culinary MSMEs to millions of loyal GoFood customers in the Gojek application.

The fourth event of the Gernas BBI is expected to encourage public and consumer pride in products made in Indonesia. It also opens more opportunities for local culinary MSMEs to be known by the public.

Tricia Iskandar, VP of Public Policy & Gojek Government Relations explained that it was pleased to be able to play an active role in supporting the success of the Indonesian Festival: Children of the Nation's Festival, especially because this event has a mission that is in line with ours to continue to be the best growth partner for local culinary MSMEs.

“We hope that through the participation of GoFood and 12 Champion Local business partners can further inspire other local culinary MSMEs to move forward and grow their business by maximizing the benefits of the digital ecosystem as a whole,” he said.

While Odo RM Manuhutu, The Deputy for Tourism and Creative Economy of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries who also attended this event appreciated GoFood's commitment to helping local culinary MSME friends to increase their existence through participation in this Indonesian Festival event..

One of them is the collaboration with GoFood which provides opportunities for local culinary MSMEs to reach more customers and increase their business in a sustainable manner,” he added.
