Nah, recently a flight attendant, Cierra shares tips and secrets about aviation. Latest video, Cierra shared it with 2,8 million followers on the TikTok app.
He explained that the reason the cabin crew asked passengers to turn on airplane mode on your cellphone during the flight was.
Cierra explained that there were around 45.000 flights that happen every day, with around 2,9 million passengers on board. Believe it or not, the pilot is not actually responsible for flying.
“Ya, they are the ones who operate the plane, but from the moment the boarding gate is closed until the moment of landing, pilots follow special instructions given to them by a group of people on the ground called air traffic control,” he said as quoted from The Sun.
Himself added, The pilot's job is basically to make sure the planes take off and land successfully without crashing into each other. Sometimes, frequencies may collide and cause complete loss of signal.

However, some experts denounced his claims, and say it's not true. One person who said that they were avionics technicians during 30 tahun mengatakan itu “tidak benar.”
