Traveldiva.id — Saat memutuskan untuk kemping di Kampung Rimba Camp, actually we have prepared ourselves for the road to be taken. Winding and full of sharp inclines. That's right, after exiting the Ciawi toll road, Google Maps directs us to immediately turn right. Even though it was an odd date, and our license plates are also odd.
We were forced to use maps because this was the first time visiting Kampung Rimba Camp. The map made by Google shows a winding and winding map view. We passed a small alley. The sharp incline almost forced the car to back off because our car was automatic. When you want to climb, we should gas continuously. But because there is a car from the opposite direction, foot forced to hit the brakes, stop, can't go up anymore. Luckily my husband can handle the panic, play the gears and make the car climb again.
After an hour of winding down, plot twist, maps lead out, on the way to the top again. Exit right beside Grand USSU. Hadeeuuhhh… Tau gitu, what did we use to turn everything? You should have gone straight from the Ciawi Toll Road.
A man in a small hat approached us. Lately we seem to hear people call him Adam, which is clearly not Adam Suseno, Inul Daratista's husband. Rather than being unsure of his name, just call me brother.
This Abang immediately took us to the camping site. Go up 3x the stairs, on an area of less than 500 the meter is already standing 3 tent. Should be filled 4, but it looks like the tenant of the other camping ground hasn't come yet. Our tent is already up, thanks to the help of Mamak Bolang @Omazz and her husband who is often referred to as Pak RT. I don't know why it's called Pak RT, maybe because people are very helpfull with fellow campers.
Let's start hanging out. Cooking, brew coffee, sat for a while in front of the tent. Until finally I decided to photograph the natural beauty of Kampung Rimba Camp. As it happens, at that time the fog cloud had enveloped us for a while 30 minutes of light rain.
What makes Kampung Rimba interesting is that the toilets are located not far from the camping site. Although you can sleep in a tent, the manager also provides a tree house for glamping. On top of our camping ground there is even more land for outbound or employee gatherings.
At the bottom there is a swimming pool. Around it hang light bulbs to illuminate the path and the pool area. The stairs are made of strong tree wood. At the bottom again we could see a lot of tents being put up. Apparently that's where the river is. Many choose to set up tents by the river so they can sleep soundly hearing the sound of the rushing water.
The night is getting late, it's instant noodles time! Brew or cook. Broth and fry. Just as delicious.
This is the joy of camping. We can't sleep until dawn, then as much sleep during the day. No need to rush to take a shower, because the cold water in Kampung Rimba Camp can numb the body. Especially when it comes to shampooing. Head feels thick from the cold.
In Kampung Rimba Camp there is actually an Off Road Tour tour. Mengitari sawah dan lokasi sekitar dengan menggunakan Jeep 4×4. But we chose to sleep alone. Our plan for a short tracking to the waterfall was cancelled.

For tracking short trip duration approx 1-2 hours with the pine forest route, tea plantation, across the river and Bukit Pasir Angin. Meanwhile, long tracks are more than 6 hours with the same route but the final destination is Telaga Saat Nature Tourism.
Three days and two nights were enough for us to spend the night at the camp. Homework on the last day is to adjust the return journey with the One Way rule going down from the peak towards Jakarta.
Lucky, we only got stuck when we wanted to go out to the highway. The traffic jam was long enough to arrive at Cimory Riverside. The return trip was pretty smooth and we got home safely at 19.00 WIB.
