A few weeks ago you visited Tagroaned. Can tell, which spots you visited during your trip to Tangerang?

The spots visited during a trip to Tangerang are Tangerang Station, Museum Benteng Heritage, Klenteng Boen Tek Bio, Kalipasir Mosque, Cisadane Bridge, and the Tangerang Old Market.

How many hours of time do you spend traveling in Tangerang?

For Tangerang tours, we spend time 4,5 jam, outside the travel time from home to Tangerang Station. The journey starts from Tangerang Station to finish the culinary night at the Tangerang Old Market.

What's so interesting about Tangerang Station in your opinion?

The attraction of the station that was founded on 2 January 1889 this lies in the existence of part of the original building that is preserved. In fact, Tangerang Station was closed in 1973–1975 and experienced a fire that year 2000.

The original buildings that are still preserved today are the wooden frames of the large windows in the station and the old diameter wells 5 meters which are outside the station. This well is known as Sumur Gede.

You also visit the Benteng Heritage Museum. In fact, what is the attraction of the museum?

The museum building is thought to have been built in the 17th century. Initially it was a Chinese house. The house was converted into a museum on 20 November 2011. The Benteng Heritage Museum stores various antiques and artifacts related to the history of Chinese ethnicity in Indonesia.

One of the collections that caught my attention was the wooden doors as we usually see in ancient Chinese movies. The door is locked with 2 latch that turns out to be easy to close, but difficult to open.

It turned out that there was a trick in itself to open the door and only trusted people in the house could open it. It is said that in ancient times, the door opener secret holder cannot go at the same time because the door cannot be opened from the outside.

From the Fort Heritage Museum, you go to Klenteng Boen Tek Bio. What is so special about this temple?

This temple, which is located in the Pasar Lama Chinatown area, is the oldest temple in Tangerang. It is thought to stand on 1684. When I got there it was late afternoon, there is a lion dance performance to commemorate Dewi Kwan Im's birthday. The interesting thing that happened at that time was that when we entered the evening prayer time, the lion dance show ended.

And replace with drum, followed by the call to prayer at sunset from the Kalipasir Mosque which is located not far from the temple. This indicates a tolerance for diversity, that is, mutual respect among the Buddhist and Muslim communities who live around the temples and mosques.

After the pagoda, you stop by the Kalipasir Mosque. What was the condition of the mosque when you were there?

Kalipasir Mosque is the oldest mosque in the city of Tangerang which was founded in the 16th century. When I took the time to pray there, there was a mixture of Islamic and Chinese culture in the mosque building. The minarets of the mosque are similar to the pagodas in China and the other decorations on the mosque's domes resemble the roof ornaments of buildings in monasteries.

Another thing that is maintained by this mosque is 4 pillars on the inside of the mosque which until now have never been replaced or repaired. After Maghrib prayer, I tried to perpetuate this mosque. And, it turned out to be very beautiful. The tower of the mosque which looks like a pagoda looks beautiful when lit by the moonlight.

You also visit the Cisadane River. In a post on Facebook, IHH said that the beauty of Cisadane was not inferior to the Thames River. The reason can be stated?

Yes, correct. In my opinion, the Cisadane River is no less interesting than the Thames River. The two rivers both have bridges with unique shapes. Beautiful twinkling lights. Even, In my opinion, The Barendeng Bridge or Cisadane Bridge is much more festive because it is full of colors.

The last spot you will visit is the Tangerang Old Market. Can describe the atmosphere there when you were there?

This market is very crowded. The average visitor there wants to enjoy culinary delights at night. Many cart traders and tent stalls line this area, provide a variety of old school snacks to the present. Meanwhile, cafes and restaurants are comfortable and equipped live music be a hangout place for visitors with their family or friends.

We just have to choose what to eat and where. Tangerang Old Market night culinary starts at 17.00 to 24.00 WIB. The hustle and bustle of this area has been visible since the afternoon. As the night wore on the area became more crowded and dense. Vehicles that force their way into this area are blocked by droves of visitors. Tangerang Old Market is the best alternative to spend a weekend in Tangerang.

Take a trip in Tangerang a la Indonesia Hidden Heritage (IHH) just spent 4,5 jam. There is a suggestion for Travel Diva who will take a short getaway to Tangerang?

The advice I can make is timely, don't miss the destination train to Tangerang. Wear comfortable shoes because exploring Tangerang requires energy, so walking comfort really needs to be considered.

Take a trip from noon around 10pm 15.00 WIB until evening so that all beautiful spots can be visited and their beauty immortalized. Last one, obey the rules requested by the museum or place of worship when visiting there. (*)
