You can choose “Search Nearby” on SmartThings Find, the Galaxy SmartTag and BLE will be directly connected to activate BLE “Find Mode”.
On your smartphone device, A green circle graphic will appear which will change bigger the closer the Galaxy SmartTag is.
What if you forget where the last one put the key?
Now there is no need to unpack the whole room. The solution is easy, open the SmartThings application, press the Ring button to "call" the key via the notification sound generated by the Galaxy SmartTag, and approach the sound direction to find it.
Fellow Galaxy smartphone devices can also help find your lost SmartTag in a remote place with the Galaxy Find Network feature.
When this SmartTag device is away from your smartphone for 30 minute, Galaxy SmartTag with BLE signals SmartThings Find on nearby Galaxy devices, which then sends the signal to your Galaxy device, makes it easier for you to find the SmartTag location.
And the Private ID feature ensures that as long as the SmartTag sends a BLE signal, it will form a secret ID that keeps changing to keep your data safe.
