Traveldiva – The Lebak Regency Government continues to strive to improve accessibility and comfort for traveler who visited the Baduy cultural area. One strategic step is the construction of the Ciboleger Terminal in Leuwidamar District, Lebak Regency, Banten. This project costs a budget of Rp 1 billion sourced from the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) 2024.
According to the Head of the Lebak Culture and Tourism Service, Imam Rismahayadin, This development includes the arrangement of kiosks and gardens in the terminal area. “We wake up from DAK 2024 amounting to Rp 1 billion for the arrangement of kiosks and gardens at Ciboleger Terminal,” said the Imam, Thursday (26/12/2024).
Supporting Tourism Supporting Villages
Ciboleger Terminal functions as a gateway to the Baduy cultural tourism area. This area is also designed to support tourism supporting villages, by providing 10 kiosks that will be utilized by local traders. However, Until now, these kiosks have not been functional because they are still waiting for regulations regarding their use.
Imam explained that regulatory discussions were expected to be completed before the Christmas and New Year holidays 2025. “Just complete the administration, Is the system a rental or what?. Don't let this administration not be completed but have been filled in, later it will be suspected of extortion,” clear.
Integrated Facilities
Apart from the terminal, The Banten Provincial Government is also taking part in building a parking area located not far from Ciboleger Terminal. This parking area is designed to accommodate tourist vehicles, so that large vehicles do not enter the core Baduy cultural tourism area.
Area parkir tersebut akan dilengkapi dengan kios tambahan dan pusat informasi. Pusat informasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu wisatawan memahami etika dan aturan yang berlaku sebelum memasuki kawasan Baduy. “Kita berharap yang masuk kawasan Baduy bisa pakai guide lokal yang akan stand by di area parkir,” tambah Imam.
Manfaat bagi Wisatawan dan Masyarakat Lokal
Pembangunan ini diharapkan tidak hanya meningkatkan kenyamanan wisatawan, tetapi juga memberikan manfaat ekonomi bagi masyarakat lokal. Kehadiran kios di terminal dan area parkir memberikan peluang usaha bagi penduduk desa sekitar. other than that, keterlibatan pemandu wisata lokal diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat serta melestarikan budaya Baduy.
