Traveldiva – Entrance ticket price is nine museum and cultural heritage managed by the Indonesian Heritage Agency (IHA) experienced an increase starting Thursday, 1 August 2024. This step was taken as part of an integrated transformation aimed at improving and standardizing public services.
Chief Plt IHA, Ahmad Mahendra, in his official statement quoted on Thursday (1/8/2024), say, “Penyesuaian tarif ini adalah langkah penting untuk memastikan bahwa fasilitas dan layanan yang kami sediakan dapat terus ditingkatkan. We want the museums and cultural heritage that we manage to remain relevant, attract, dan edukatif bagi semua pengunjung.”
The following is a list of the latest entrance ticket prices for the nine museums and cultural reserves:
1. The Song Museum continues in Pacitan, East Java
Child: Rp 10.000
Mature: Rp 15.000
Foreign nationals (children and adults): Rp 30.000
2. Semedo Museum in Tegal, Central Java
Child: Rp 3.000
Mature: Rp 8.000
Foreign nationals: Rp 20.000
3. National Awakening Museum in Central Jakarta
Child: Rp 3.000 (previously Rp 1.000)
Mature: Rp 5.000 (previously Rp 2.000)
Foreign nationals: Rp 25.000
4. Youth Pledge Museum in Central Jakarta
Child: Rp 3.000
Mature: Rp 5.000
Foreign nationals: Rp 25.000
5. Museum of the Formulation of Proclamation Manuscripts in Central Jakarta
Child: Rp 3.000
Mature: Rp 5.000
Foreign nationals: Rp 25.000
6. Basoeki Abdullah Museum in South Jakarta

It is hoped that this price change will support efforts to improve the quality of services at these museums. This price increase is also expected to help in the maintenance and development of existing facilities, so that these museums remain attractive educational destinations for domestic and international visitors.
With this increase in ticket prices, Visitors are expected to enjoy a better experience and more complete facilities at each museum. For example, at the National Awakening Museum, where the entrance ticket for children has now increased from Rp 1.000 to Rp 3.000, and for adults from Rp 2.000 to Rp 5.000, there will be improvements in various aspects such as more interactive exhibitions and more comfortable facilities.
