CREATIVE Hub Indonesia Hidden Heritage (IHH) accompanying the Founding Team of the Bappenas Museum from the Ministry of National Development Planning (Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas) held an audience with Bung Hatta University in Padang, West Sumatra on Friday, 20 November 2021. The audience discussed exploring cooperation related to data collection on the role of Mohammad Hatta in national development planning.
The hearing was conducted by the Founding Team of the Bappenas Museum consisting of Ismet Mohamad Suhud as the coordinator, Raup Archives, Historian Reni Dikawati and Information Technology Expert Muhammad Afandi, and accompanied by the Executive Director of Indonesia Hidden Heritage Nofa Farida Lestari, Media and Partnership Manager for Indonesia Hidden Heritage Rina Garmina and Tourism Development Consultant Rahmi Setiawati. The Founding Team of the National Development Planning Agency and Indonesia Hidden Heritage Museum was received directly by the Chancellor of the Bung Hatta University, Prof. Dr. Tafdil Husni, I KNOW, MBA accompanied by Vice Chancellor II Dr. Hidayat, MT, IPM, Kebunghattaan Course Coordinator Dr. Wirnita Eska, S.Pd, MM, Kebunghattaan Lecturer Dr. Gunesti M.Pd and Head of Bung Hatta University Rector's Secretariat Rio Rinaldi, S.Pd, M.Pd.
According to the Executive Director of Indonesia Hidden Heritage Nofa Farida Lestari, accompanying the audience of the Bung Hatta Museum Founding Team with the Chancellor of the Bung Hatta University is a form of IHH's support for the plan to establish the Bappenas Museum.
"Indonesia Hidden Heritage welcomes the plan to establish the Bappenas Museum because it is in line with our mission as a creative hub that explores", develop and promote the potential of historical and cultural tourism and bring together the interests of stakeholder in tourism, history and culture,”Said Nofa.
Change the Face of the Museum
According to the Coordinator of the Founding Team of the Bappenas Museum, Ismet Mohamad Suhud, The National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) will change the face of museums in Indonesia because it carries a digital concept and does not store historical objects in museum showrooms.. “The National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Museum will present the thoughts of national development planning figures presented in a modern way, without losing the historical value of these figures,"explained Ismet.
The modern concept promoted by the Bappenas Museum is expected to change the image of the museum from conventional to modern so that it looks more attractive and can attract tourists., both at home and abroad. Currently, the plan for the establishment of the National Development Planning Agency is in the early exploration stage. "The visit to Bung Hatta University is part of historical research on national development planners, which will be curated into the National Development Planning Agency's collection.. Our goal here is to collect and process source validation at the same time, both internally and externally,"said the historian from the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Reni Dikawati.
Bung Hatta is included in the list of national figures to be curated because he is a founding father Bappenas. After the process of selecting and sorting or validating the source is done, The Founding Team of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) will interpret events based on the valid sources of findings in the form of historical writing or heuristics..
Related to the provision of data sources, The Founding Team of the Bappenas Museum invites Bung Hatta University to work together, for example in the form of maintenance call for paper who raised the works of Bung Hatta. As a college that teaches the subject of Kebunghattaan, Bung Hatta University also teaches students a lot about the character of the forerunner of the National Development Planning Agency, including integrity and upholding the norms of good manners.
Besides Bung Hatta University in Padang, Indonesia Hidden Heritage also accompanied the Founding Team of the Bappenas Museum to conduct historical research to the Bukittinggi City Library and Archives Service, Bukittinggi City Education and Culture Office, Bung Hatta Birth House Museum, Bukittinggi Proclaimer's Library, Istana Bung Hatta and IAIN Bukittinggi in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra on 18-19 November 2021. Before Padang and Bukittinggi, Indonesia Hidden Heritage and the Founding Team of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) also visited Palembang, South Sumatra on 9-12 November 2021 in the context of early exploration of the history of the forerunner of Bappenas, Adnan Kapau Gani.
With the Bappenas Museum, the government is expected to have a museum that is scientifically interesting.
